Wow! It is difficult to describe all of the different emotions experienced during this campaign, especially near the end of the campaign. It has been a roller coaster ride- sometimes up and sometimes down- slow at the start and fast at the finish - exciting and scary - always stressful - glad to get on board but relieved to get finished. I am very excited about our successful campaign finish. I was humbled by, and grateful for, all of the work and support from so many people. Thoughts of the efforts of friends, supporters, and family motivated me to keep going even when I was tired. Those efforts by others are very special to me. Without your efforts, this could never have been accomplished. Although I don't have words that seem sufficient, I am very appreciative of everyone's assistance and support, and I do thank you very, very much. I feel very blessed. I will continue to practice law until January when I will be sworn in. Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers during our transition over the next six months.
